Programming Committee: The programming committee will help in determining workshop topics, speakers, organize contests, and cyber tour scheduling. We have a handful of dedicated volunteers who have offered to help however there is always room for more! So if you would like to volunteer or have ideas about what programs you’d like, please email me at marrmrgrt@sbcglobal.net.
Workshops schedule: Our goal for the chapter’s first year is 6 online workshops. Our first workshop will be held after the holidays and we are shooting for mid-January. The programming committee will meet the first week of November to discuss the upcoming workshop topics and potential speakers.
Annual Women’s Fiction National Meeting: We are currently working with RWA to acquire meeting space for our WF Chapter at the RWA National meeting in Nashville. This meeting will tentatively include a general membership meeting, a guest speaker, and a mixer. Details to be announced as we get them.
Contest: We hope to have our first contest in 2010 and details will follow as to dates and categories.
